A tehsil (, also known as tahsil, taluka, or taluk) is a local unit of administrative division in some countries of South Asia. It is a subdistrict of the area within a district including the designated populated place that serves as its administrative centre, with possible additional towns, and usually a number of villages. The terms in India have replaced earlier terms, such as '' pargana'' (''pergunnah'') and ''thana''. Rahim Yar Khan District ( ur, ) is a district in the of Punjab province, Pakistan and the city of Rahim Yar Khan is its capital. 2017 Census Of Pakistan
The 2017 Census of Pakistan was a detailed enumeration of the Pakistani population which began on 15 March 2017 and ended on 25 May 2017. It was the first census taken in the country in the 21st century, nineteen years after 1998 Census of Pakistan, the previous one in 1998, and it was carried out by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. The census recorded a total population throughout the country of 213,222,917. The results showed a massive population increase having occurred between 1998 and 2017 of 77.0 Million people, or an increase of +56.5%. The results also marked a significant overperformance compared to estimations made of the Pakistani population before the census, which had previously estimated the Pakistani population in 2017 to be 195 Million – 200 Million. Krishna Temple, Sadiqabad
Shri Krisha Temple is a Hindu temple located in the Sadiqabad Tehsil in the Rahim Yar Khan District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The temple is famous for the Krishna Janmastami celebration which is participated by Hindus from Sindh and Southern Punjab. The Janmastami festival lasts for 2-3 days and a big mela is conducted. In 2017, the Punjab government released money for the renovation of the temple.
