Sacred 3
''Sacred 3'' is a hack and slash brawler, part of the ''Sacred'' series, despite notable differences in both gameplay and design. Deep Silver, which acquired the license to ''Sacred 3'' from former development studio Ascaron Entertainment, announced at Gamescom that the earliest it could publish the game would be in early 2012. The game was finally released on 1 August 2014. It was met with mixed to negative reception. Another side-scrolling action brawler called ''Sacred Citadel'' acted as a prequel to the ''Sacred 3'' story and released in 2013 to XBLA, PSN and Steam and developed by Southend Interactive. Gameplay There are a variety of classes to choose from but those from '' Sacred 2: Fallen Angel'' have not returned. They have been replaced by the Safiri Warrior and Ancarian Lancer. Deep Silver
Deep Silver is an Austrian video game publisher and a division of Plaion. Eugenio Vitale serves as the director of games development for Deep Silver. History Deep Silver was announced in November 2002, with their first release to be '' Anarchy Online: The Notum Wars''. According to Craig McNichol, who ran Koch Media's England branch, the idea behind Deep Silver was to have a business segment that would develop games that would complement the games Koch Media was distributing on behalf of other publishers. McNichol also stated that Deep Silver's name was subject to much internal discussion. Koch Media invested in Deep Silver in July 2003, and in November 2003, all of Koch Media's game publishing operations (excluding distribution) were reallocated to Deep Silver. The division had been continuously active since, primarily in Europe. In April 2008, Koch Media opened Deep Silver, Inc., a subsidiary branch based in Los Angeles, under Deep Silver's name.
