Saburō Date
was a Japanese actor. In 1945, he signed a contract with Daiei Film company and started his acting career. Following year, he made his film debut with ''Okagura Kyōdai'' directed by Hiroshi Inagaki. At the same time, he was given the stage name ''Saburo Date'' by Inagaki. As the Daiei studio gave up film production in 1970, he left Daiei and became a freelance actor. He appeared in nearly 200 films between 1947 and 1990. Taishō-ku, Osaka
is one of 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. As of October 1, 2006, the ward has an estimated population of 72,742 and the total area is 9.43 km2. Taisho is surrounded by canals and it is named after the Taisho bridge, a main bridge built in Taishō period. One fourth of residents has their roots in Okinawa Prefecture, and there are many stores associated with Okinawan culture and Okinawan cuisine in Taisho. Transport on the Osaka Loop Line railway and the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line subway is located at the northern tip of the ward. The rest of the ward is served by the bus lines operated by Osaka City Bus. As the ward is surrounded by rivers with few bridges for pedestrians, the city provides ferry services. is a 1990 Japanese film directed by Masahiro Shinoda. It was chosen as Best Film at the Japan Academy Prize ceremony. It was based on a manga of the same name by Motoo Abiko. Synopsis The film is a story of childhood life during wartime Japan. Takeshi, the intelligent son of a fisherman, is the schoolyard bully. The Bullet Train

A recut version was released in the United States in 1976 as ''The Bodyguard'', with added footage in the first ten minutes of the film.
