Sabari
''Sabari'' is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Suresh. It stars Vijayakanth as the title character with Jyothirmayi, Malavika and Pradeep Rawat in supporting roles. The film was released on 16 March 2007 to mixed reviews. Plot Sabarivasan (Vijayakanth) is a doctor by profession and cannot tolerate injustice by any means. Nandhini (Jyothirmayi), a college student, meets Sabari and falls in love with him. Eventually they both get married. Vajravelu (Rawat) is a local criminal working for a minister ( Mahadevan). Vajravelu's brother-in-law Ezhumalai ( Aryan) is arrested by the police for a brutal murder. While trying to escape on the way to court, he is shot by a policeman. Vajravelu's henchmen take Ezhumalai to Sabari and force him to operate. Sabari removes the bullet, but he beats up all the henchmen and produces Ezhumalai to the police. Suresh (director)
Suresh is a Tamil film director who directs action-masala films. Career Suresh studied under various directors including Dharani, N. Maharajan and N. Lingusamy. He made his directorial debut with '' Arasu'' starring R. Sarathkumar and Simran. Most of the shooting took place at Kumbakonam, in and around the temple areas. Other locations were Mumbai and Kolkata. A fight scene was filmed at the Kumbakonam market area. Five cameras were used and it took ten days to shoot the fight scene. The scene choreographed by Peter Hein and filmed by cinematographer Y. N. Murali, was shot amidst a large crowd including the hero, some stuntmen, character artistes and the locals. Close-up shots of the fight scene were shot again in Chennai Studio where a set resembling the market place was erected. Salem Chandrasekharan (died 10 May 2021) was an Indian film producer and distributor. He produced high-budget Tamil language, Tamil films like ''Ghajini (2005 film), Ghajini'' and ''Sabari'' under Sree Saravana Creations. Business Before venturing into film production, Chandrasekharan was a distributor and owner of a three-screen theatre in Salem, Tamil Nadu, Salem named ARK Complex. His first production was ''Sullan'' (2004) and later was supposed to produce Vetrimaaran's debut film ''Desiya Nedunchaalai'' with Dhanush, which was later shelved. Despite the success of ''Ghajini (2005 film), Ghajini'' (2005), his following ventures did not perform well. Rahul Nambiar is an Indian playback singer and live performer. An MBA and M.Com-graduate, he won the Swapthaswarangal show in 2001 and began singing live.
