Šabac (Serbian Cyrillic: Шабац, ) is a city and the administrative centre of the Mačva District in western Serbia. The traditional centre of the fertile Mačva region, Šabac is located on the right banks of the river Sava. , the city proper has population of 53,919, while its administrative area comprises 118,347 inhabitants. Name The name ''Šabac'' was first mentioned in Ragusan documents dating to 1454. The origin of the city's name is uncertain; it is possible its name comes from the name of the city's main river, the Sava. Fudbalski klub Mačva Šabac () is a Serbian professional football club based in Šabac. One of the oldest football clubs in Serbia, their nickname is (). The nickname was used for the first time in 1927, when the Uruguay national football team were one of the best teams in the world, and due to local people and media comparing Mačva's style to that of the Uruguayan team, the main daily newspaper ''Politika'' consistently used the nickname . John Fuentes (born February 7, 1972), also known as SaBac Red, is an American rapper from New York City and a member of Non Phixion and the "on hold" Secret Society. Biography Sabac was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, along with his twin sister. His family moved to Brooklyn, New York City, when he was four years old. Sabac was raised by his mom and grandmother who are Sicilian Italian. He grew up in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn neighboring Bensonhurst and Coney Island. Sabac began his journey into hip hop as a B-Boy and aspiring Graffiti artist. At the age of 12 Sabac began exploring the art of emceeing. He would listen to the mix shows and memorize other MCs lyrics. He would then make parodies of the songs using his own lyrics. Sabbac is the name of three American comic book supervillains appearing in DC Comics. The original Sabbac debuted in '' Captain Marvel Jr.'' #4 (February 1943), and was created by Otto Binder and Al Carreno as an enemy of Captain Marvel Jr., while an updated version debuted in '' Outsiders'' #8 (March 2004), and was created by Judd Winick and Tom Raney as a nemesis for both Junior and the Outsiders superhero team.
