STOS BASIC
STOS BASIC is a dialect of the BASIC programming language for the Atari ST personal computer. It was designed for creating games, but the set of high-level graphics and sound commands it offers is suitable for developing multimedia software without knowledge of the internals of the Atari ST. STOS BASIC was developed by Jawx– François Lionet, and Constantin Sotiropoulos–and published by Mandarin Software (now known as Europress Software). History Although the first version of ''STOS'' to be released in the UK (version 2.3) was released in late 1988 by Mandarin Software, a version had been released earlier in France. Version 2.3 was bundled with three complete games (''Orbit'', ''Zoltar'' and ''Bullet Train''), and many accessories and utilities (such as sprite and music editors). X86 Assembly Language
x86 assembly language is the name for the family of assembly languages which provide some level of backward compatibility with CPUs back to the Intel 8008 microprocessor, which was launched in April 1972. It is used to produce object code for the x86 class of processors. Regarded as a programming language, assembly is ''machine-specific'' and '' low-level''. Like all assembly languages, x86 assembly uses mnemonics to represent fundamental CPU instructions, or machine code. Štós
Å tós (before 1973 ''Å tos''; german: link=no, Stoß, earlier ''Stoos''; hu, Stósz, earlier ''Soosz'', in the Middle Ages ''Hegyalja'') is a village and municipality in KoÅ¡ice-okolie District in the KoÅ¡ice Region of eastern Slovakia. It is one of several towns in Bodva Valley. Other towns in Bodva Valley include: Jasov, Lucia Bania, Medzev (Metzenseifen), and VyÅ¡ný Medzev (Upper Metzenseifen). History The village developed from an old Slav mining settlement. After the Mongol invasion of 1241, the depopulated region was resettled by German settlers. The place-name derives from the German family name Stoss. In 1341 many privileges were given to German miners. The village passed to Jasov and in 1427 to SmolnÃk. After that, it belonged to the local lord Ján Baglos. The Original Series
''Star Trek'' is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry that follows the adventures of the starship and its crew.
