Street & Racing Technology
SRT (Street & Racing Technology) is an American high-performance automobile group within Dodge and the wider Stellantis North America family. As well as Dodge, they have previously tuned and produced cars for Chrysler and Jeep. Origins of the brand came back to 1989 when a team known as "Team Viper" was put together to develop the Dodge Viper. It later merged with Team Prowler, the developers of the Plymouth Prowler, to become Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). This was renamed Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO) from January 2002 until around 2004. Since all PVO vehicles used the SRT brand, the development team itself was renamed SRT in 2004. Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) is an open source video transport protocol that utilises the User Datagram Protocol, UDP transport protocol. Overview SRT provides connection and control, reliable transmission similar to Transmission Control Protocol, TCP; however, it does so at the application layer, using User Datagram Protocol, UDP protocol as an underlying transport layer. It supports packet recovery while maintaining low latency (default: 120 ms). SRT also supports encryption using Advanced Encryption Standard, AES. The protocol was derived from the UDP-based Data Transfer Protocol, UDT project, which was designed for fast file transmission. It provided the reliability mechanism by utilising similar methods for connection, sequence numbers, acknowledgements and re-transmission of lost packets. Dodge is an American brand of automobiles and a division of Stellantis, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The service starts at Suseo station in southeast Seoul and terminates at either Busan station or Mokpo station.
