SR-3 Vikhr
The SR-3 Vikhr (''СР-3 Вихрь'', Russian for "whirlwind") is a Russian 9×39mm compact assault rifle. It was developed by A. D. Borisov, V. N. Levchenko and A. Tyshlykov at TsNIITochMash (Central Institute for Precision Machine Building) in the early 1990s and was manufactured in 1994. Heavily based on the AS Val, but lacks an integral suppressor, has a newly designed folding stock and charging handle for ease of concealed carry. The abbreviation "SR" stands for ''spetsialnaya razrabotka'' — special development. Because the SR-3 Vikhr is a rather expensive weapon for its small size and weight, it was not mass produced for the Russian military. It was primarily used by the Russian Special Operations Forces and certain government officials' security details. History After the adoption of the SR-3 Vikhr, the FSB established new operational requirements with a goal to combine the qualities of the SR-3, AS Val and VSS Vintorez, resulting in a new variant designated as the SR- ...

Szekely SR-3
Szekely aircraft engines were three-cylinder radial engines built in Holland, Michigan in the 1920s and 30s. They were used to power small aircraft such as the Rearwin Junior, Taylor H-2 and American Eagle Eaglet. Often criticized for reliability issues and design flaws, many were replaced with better engines in their original airframes. Few examples still exist but a museum quality example is on display in the Holland Museum in Holland, Michigan. SR-3 Blackstar
Blackstar is the reported codename of a secret United States orbital spaceplane system. The possible existence of the Blackstar program was reported in March 2006 by ''Aviation Week & Space Technology'' (''Aviation Week'', ''AWST'') magazine; the magazine reported that the program had been underway since at least the early 1990s, and that the impetus for Blackstar was to allow the United States government to retain orbital reconnaissance capabilities jeopardized following the 1986 ''Challenger'' disaster. The article also said that the United States Air Force's Space Command was unaware of Blackstar, suggesting it was operated by an intelligence agency such as the National Reconnaissance Office. ''Aviation Week'' speculated that such a spacecraft could also have offensive military capabilities, a concept colloquially known as "The Space Bomber".

Solar Roadways
Solar Roadways Incorporated is an American company based in Sandpoint, Idaho, aiming to develop solar-powered road panels to form a smart highway. Their proof-of-concept technology is a hexagonal road panel that has a glass driving surface with underlying solar cells, electronics, and sensors to act as a part of solar array with programmable capability. The concept has been criticized as unfeasible and uneconomical as either a road surface or a photovoltaic system. History The company was founded in 2006 by Scott and Julie Brusaw, with Scott as President and CEO. They envisioned replacing asphalt surfaces with structurally engineered solar panels capable of withstanding vehicular traffic. The proposed system would require the development of strong, transparent, and self-cleaning glass with the necessary traction and impact-resistance properties at competitive cost. In 2009, Solar Roadways received a $100,000 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the United States ...
