SKV Zwevezele
Koninklijke Sportkring Voorwaarts Zwevezele is a football club based in Zwevezele, West Flanders, Belgium. The club is affiliated to the Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB) with ''matricule'' 6039 and has yellow and black as club colours. Recent history The first women's team was promoted to the Belgian Women's First Division for the first time in the 2018–19 season, and the men's team play in the Belgian Division 2. In 2018, the team was promoted to the national divisions, after it won the Belgian First Provincial. In the 2018–19 season, the team won the first and third period title in Belgian Third Amateur Division A, which allowed them to participate in the final round for promotion. That final round was won after wins over Sint-Lenaarts and Lyra-Lierse. The team thus promoted to the Belgian Second Amateur Division – its fifth promotion in six seasons. Zwevezele
Zwevezele (Pronunciation: weːvəzeːlə) is a town in the Belgian province of West Flanders. It has been part of the Wingene municipality since 1 January 1977. Zwevezele has over 5,000 inhabitants. Between Zwevezele and Wingene there is a hamlet called Hille, with its St. Joseph Parish. The hamlet has since grown with Zwevezele itself. History The name ''Sweveseele'' is probably derived from the root, the Sueves, which was already mentioned by Julius Caesar. In 1949. the name Sweveseele changed officially in Zwevezele. Stijn De Smet
Stijn De Smet (; born 27 March 1985) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He received his first call-up to the Belgium squad in 2008 and made his debut as a starter against Morocco in a friendly at King Baudouin Stadium. Club career Cercle Brugge De Smet started his football career at amateur club Jabbeke. At the age of 12, he made moved to the youth academy of professional club Cercle Brugge, despite receiving an offer from city rivals Club Brugge. At Cercle, he progressed through the youth teams, and eventually made his senior debut in the 2003–04 season in a 0–0 home draw against Westerlo. Tim Smolders (born 26 August 1980) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Club Brugge, RBC Roosendaal, Charleroi, K.A.A. Gent, and Cercle Brugge. Hans Cornelis (born 13 October 1982) is a Belgian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Belgian Division 2 club Lokeren-Temse. Playing career Cornelis was part of a last minute transfer deal in the late evening of 31 August 2009. Cercle Brugge and Genk came to an extensive agreement: Cornelis was sold to Cercle Brugge, his teammate Jelle Vossen joined him on loan. Thomas Buffel made the opposite move.
