SITEX Corporation was founded in 1961 and is a provider of uniform and linen services, mats, mops, custom apparel, promotional items, screen-printing, embroidery, first aid, and restroom hygiene services in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Illinois. SITEX is under the management of Wes and Jon Sights marking the third generation of the Sight family to operate in the laundry industry. History Industrial Uniform Services, Incorporated was founded by James and Gladys Sights in January 1961 in Henderson, Kentucky. With Rental Uniform, Inc. the organization reached into Southwest Kentucky, West Tennessee, Southeast Missouri, and Southern Illinois. The ''Evansville Courier & Press'' is a daily newspaper based in Evansville, Indiana. It serves about 30,000 daily and 50,000 Sunday readers. History The ''Evansville Courier'' was founded in 1845 by William Newton, a young attorney. Its first issue was printed two years before the city had a charter. The ''Evansville Press'' was founded in 1906 by Edward W. Scripps as an afternoon daily.
