Sukumar
Bandreddi Sukumar (born 23 January 1970) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who works in Telugu cinema. He is known for his complex, multi-layered screenplays and for infusing grey shades in the character sketches of his protagonists. He is one of the highest paid directors in South Indian cinema. Sukumar worked as a mathematics and physics lecturer at a junior college in Kakinada for nearly seven years before pursuing a directional career in films. He began working as a writer and worked with Editor Mohan before assisting V. V. Vinayak on ''Dil'' (2003). Sukumar made his directorial debut with ''Arya'' in 2004, whose success catapulted him to stardom. 1st South Indian International Movie Awards
The 1st South Indian International Movie Awards were presented on June 22, 2012, in Dubai, UAE, to honour the best cinematic achievements of the South Indian film industry in the year 2011. Producing films in four Dravidian languages of South India, professionals were handed over a total of 71 Awards. The ceremony was hosted by R. Madhavan and Lakshmi Manchu at the Dubai World Trade Centre, while the "Generation Next Awards Night" was hosted by Parvathy Omanakuttan and held a day before at Park Hyatt on June 21. Gabbar Singh (2012 Film)
''Gabbar Singh'' is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Harish Shankar. The film is a remake of the 2010 Hindi film ''Dabangg'' and stars Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan. The plot follows a police officer who embarks on a mission to take down a corrupt politician. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's music and Jayanan Vincent was the cinematographer. Made on a budget of 30 crore, the film was formally launched on 18 August 2011 at Hyderabad with shooting primarily held at Pollachi. Harish Shankar
Sanganabhatla Harish Shankar (born 31 March 1979) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works exclusively in Telugu cinema, and Telugu theater. He made his directorial debut with ''Shock'' (2006), produced by Ram Gopal Varma. He has directed ''Mirapakay'' (2011), '' Gabbar Singh'' (2012); for which he received the SIIMA Award for Best Director, and CineMAA Award for Best Director. The 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards were presented on September 12–13, 2013 in Sharjah (emirate), Sharjah, UAE, to honour the best cinematic achievements of the South Indian film industry in the year 2012. ''Attarintiki Daredi'' () is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Reliance Entertainment, the film stars Pawan Kalyan, Samantha and Pranitha Subhash. Nadhiya, Boman Irani and Brahmanandam feature in supporting roles. Surender Reddy is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema.
