Iowa Highway 150 (Iowa 150) is an state highway in eastern and northeastern Iowa. It begins at U.S. Route 218 (US 218) in Vinton and ends at US 52 and Iowa 24 in Calmar. From Vinton, it heads north and east towards Urbana where it meets Interstate 380 (I-380) and Iowa 27, the Avenue of the Saints highway. At Independence, it intersects US 20 on the south side of town. Further north, it converges with Iowa 3 in Oelwein. As it traverses through the east-central part of the state, Iowa 150 mostly passes through farmland where acreages and farmsteads dot the landscape. Through the towns along the route, the highway generally brings traffic through the central business districts of each town. In Fayette however, the highway bypasses the downtown area. It runs from the Chester Bridge, a truss bridge over the Mississippi River to Route 51 in the state of Missouri, to IL 154 in rural Perry County well west of Pinckneyville. State Route 150 (SR 150) is a state highway that travels southwest–to–northeast through portions of McDuffie and Columbia counties in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It travels from Thomson northeast to the South Carolina state line, southwest of Clarks Hill, South Carolina. Route description McDuffie County SR 150 begins at an intersection with SR 17 (Main Street) in Thomson. It heads northeast to an intersection with US 78/ SR 10/ SR 17 Byp. Florida State Road 150
History In the mid-1970s, the Florida Department of Transportation (formerly the State Road Department) started a sequence of events that eventually resulted in the transferral of hundred of miles of roadway from State of Florida maintenance to county control. The first step was the addition of an "S-" or "C-" prefix onto the original FDOT designation ("S" represented "secondary"; "C" represented "county"). In 1977, House Bill 803, Chapter 77-165 in the '' Laws of Florida'', was passed in the Florida Legislature. This transportation policy act eliminated the State Highway Secondary System which consisted of county roads that were maintained by the state. The provisions went into effect on July 1, 1977. State Road signs started disappearing from the "C" roads and were replaced by '' Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices'' (MUTCD) compliant county road signs in the early 1980s; the transition of "S" roads to county control took a bit longer.
