SGO48 (read ''S.G.O. Forty-Eight'') was a Vietnamese idol girl group based in Saigon, officially known as Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. They were the seventh international sister group of AKB48, after Indonesia's JKT48, China's SNH48 (''former''), Thailand's BNK48, Philippines's MNL48, China's AKB48 Team SH, and Taiwan's AKB48 Team TP, debuted on December 22, 2018, at Crescent Mall, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Originally consisted of 29 founding members, known as the first generation, the group was consisted of 20 members as of April 2021, thus becoming the Vietnamese girl group with the most members. The group officially disbanded on December 22, 2021, after their last activity. is Japanese idol group AKB48's 17th single, released on August 18, 2010. The video was directed by photographer and movie producer Mika Ninagawa. The title song of this single, widely known as , was a huge karaoke hit and lead the respective JOYSOUND charts for 43 weeks. As of July 2020, the song has been covered in Indonesian by JKT48, in Mandarin by three different groups SNH48, AKB48 Team SH and AKB48 Team TP, in Tagalog by MNL48, in Vietnamese by SGO48, and in Thai by BNK48. 2010 general election The group's previous single, "Ponytail to Shushu", contained tickets in which buyers would vote for a member that would participate in the title track for "Heavy Rotation". , or AKB48 sister groups, shortened to 48 Group, 48g, refers to the sister groups of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. Based on the same concept "idols you can meet", it currently consists of 5 sister groups in locations across Japan and 7 sister groups in major Asian cities overseas from Indonesia to India. The Japan-based sister groups not only release their own singles, but also perform on some of the AKB48 singles and events. Formed in 2018, they are the fourth international sister group of AKB48, after Indonesia's JKT48, China's SNH48 (''former''), and Thailand's BNK48. AKB48 Team SH (also known as 冲吧少女组合/Chong Ba Shaonu Zuhe) is a Chinese idol group based in Shanghai, China and an official sister group of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. It was established in 2018 after the dissolution of AKB48's relationship with the girl group SNH48 back in 2016. History On April 10, 2018, the application process was opened for the formation of Team SH, in which 38,066 girls registered by May. The applications were reviewed, and the second round consisted of interviews that were held in six cities. A third round was conducted in Shanghai, of which 62 girls were finalists and performed in singing and dancing. AKB48 (pronounced ''A.K.B. Forty-Eight'') is a Japanese idol girl group named after the Akihabara (''Akiba'' for short) area in Tokyo, where the group's theater is located. AKB48's producer, Yasushi Akimoto, wanted to form a girl group with its own theater and performing daily so fans could always see them live (which is not the case with usual pop groups giving occasional concerts and seen on television). V-pop ( vi, nhạc pop Việt Nam, nhạc trẻ or nhạc xanh), an abbreviation for Vietnamese popular music, is a music genre covering Vietnamese pop music from the 1990s to the present day. is Japanese idol group AKB48's third single, and the first major single released through DefSTAR Records, on 25 October 2006. Regarded as the signature song of AKB48, the song has continued to be AKB48′s most recognizable tune among the public. It was also the theme song for the AKB48 TV show ''AKBingo!'' until 2016''.''
