Abraham Jefferson Seay (November 28, 1832 – December 12, 1915) was an American lawyer, soldier, judge, and politician. Seay attained the rank of colonel in the Union army during the American Civil War. Later, Seay would serve as an associate justice on Oklahoma Territory's supreme court and as the second governor of the Oklahoma Territory. Thomas Seay
Thomas J. Seay (November 20, 1846 – March 30, 1896) was an American Democratic politician who was the 27th Governor of Alabama from 1886 to 1890. Early life Thomas Jefferson Seay was born on November 20, 1846, near Erie in present-day Hale County. This area was part of Greene County at the time of his birth to Reuben and Ann McGee Seay. Thomas grew up on a plantation until age twelve when the family moved to Greensboro, Alabama. There he attended Southern University (Greensboro) until the outbreak of the American Civil War interrupted his studies. In 1863 Seay enlisted in the Confederate Army and served with his company around Mobile. He was captured at Spanish Fort and at Blakeley and was imprisoned on Ship Island. Seay returned to Southern University (Greensboro) after the war, graduating in 1867. He then studied law and practiced as a junior member of Coleman and Seay from 1869 to 1885. Robert Michael Seay (pronounced "See") (born June 20, 1978) is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher He has previously played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 2001 to 2004, the Colorado Rockies in 2005, and the Detroit Tigers from 2006 to 2009. High school Seay is a graduate of Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Florida, where he compiled a 30–4 record in three years (1994–1996) with a 0.79 earned run average (ERA) and 362 strikeouts in innings pitched. He led Sarasota High School to the Florida State Championship and #16 national ranking in his senior year, going 10–2 with an 0.70 ERA and 122 strikeouts and 29 base on balls in 70 innings. Carl D. "Lightning" Lloyd Seay (December 14, 1919 – September 2, 1941) was an early stock car racing driver from Georgia. NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. described Seay as the "best pure race driver I ever saw". He was shot to death by his cousin Woodrow Anderson over a moonshine operation. Robbie Seay Band (aka RSB) is a Christian contemporary band located in Houston, Texas. The band has led worship and performed all over the country for many years. Currently, Robbie, Ryan & Dave lead worship in the Northwest part of Houston. Many of the songs on RSB's albums are inspired by events and people through the years within their church and community. After releasing several independent albums, the band was signed to Sparrow Records in 2005 and retooled their last indie album, ''Better Days'', for re-release on their new label. Their second album, ''Give Yourself Away'', was released on August 28, 2007. Mark Edward Seay (born April 11, 1967) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles. John Allan Seay, Jr. (July 15, 1940 – May 14, 2016) was an American country music singer, professionally known as Johnny Sea or Johnny Seay. His first hits came in the late 1950s, and his career saw a resurgence in the mid-1960s, particularly with the release of his spoken word single "Day For Decision".
