SEAT León Supercopa
The SEAT León Supercopa was a one-make racing series, organised by SEAT Sport, the motorsport division of Spanish car manufacturer SEAT. It used a modified version of the SEAT León road car, and championships have been run in Spain, Germany, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Hungary. Car The Supercopa originally used a car based on the Mk1 León Cupra R model. This was replaced for 2006 in Spain and Germany and 2007 in Britain by the Mk2 model. Championships Eurocup The SEAT León Eurocup was first held from 2008 to 2010, supporting the World Touring Car Championship. It was revived in 2014, in this case supporting the International GT Open. Cupra Racing, formerly known as SEAT Sport, is the high-performance motorsport subsidiary of the Spanish automobile manufacturer SEAT, founded in 1985, succeeding the "SEAT Special Vehicles department" which had been formed in 1971 with the mission to enforce the brand's participation in rally championships, followed by 11 titles between 1979 and 1983. Robert Peter "Rob" Huff (born 25 December 1979) is a British professional racing driver. He currently competes in the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) driving for Zengő Motorsport. SEAT Cupra Championship
The SEAT Cupra Championship was a one-make series that ran for six years between 2003 and 2008, the last five of which ran as a support package to the British Touring Car Championship. Originally the prize for winning the championship was a drive for the SEAT works team in the BTCC. From 2005 and onwards this changed to a £100,000 cheque. Throughout the championship's six years, 78 drivers competed. Peter Terting is a German auto racing driver, born on 19 February 1984 in Kempten.
