The Brandenburg football championship (German: ''Brandenburgische Fußball-Meisterschaft'') was the name of highest association football competition in the Prussian Province of Brandenburg, including Berlin, established in 1898. The competition was organized by various regional football associations between 1898 and 1933. The last incarnation of the competition was the VBB-Oberliga. The competition was disbanded in 1933 with the rise of the Nazis to power. WFC Corso 99/Vineta is a German association football club from the Wedding district of the city of Berlin. It is the product of the 1996 union of ''Sportverein Corso/Vineta'' and ''Weddinger Fußballclub''. __TOC__ History Corso 99 Berlin Predecessor ''Berliner Sportclub Corso'' was established on 1 June 1899 in the city district of Prenzlauer Berg.
