SC Morabeza
Sport Clube Morabeza is a football club in Cape Verde that plays in the Brava Island Division in Cape Verde. It is based in Nova Sintra the island of Brava and plays at Estádio Aquiles de Oliveira where all the clubs from Brava even those based outside the capital play. The club name's etymology is the name predominantly used in Cape Verde and it is used in other music albums and the hotel in the island of Sal. Its current coach is Alfredo Moreira, himself a former player. Together with Sporting, it is Brava's most successful teams. History The club was founded in 1980 and was Brava's first club, the club name's etymology is the nickname for Cape Verde ''Ilhas de morabeza''. 2010 Cape Verdean Football Championships
The 2010 Cape Verdean Football Championship season was the 31st of the competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. Its started on 8 May, slightly later than the last season and finished on 10 July, later than last year. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. It was the second consecutive time that the final featured two clubs from the same island and city, the next time it happened would be five years later. It brought the Capital Rivalry between Sporting and Boavista to the national championships. Another club of Praia named Boavista FC (Cape Verde) winning the national title breaking Sporting Praia's consecutive title wins. The 2009 Cape Verdean Football Championship season was the 30th of the competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. Its started on 16 April, earlier than the last season and finished on 11 June. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. Sporting would win their 8th title and fourth straight after defeating the city's rival Académica. This was the first final competition that featured two clubs from the same island as well as the same city, it happened the following season with Boavista. Brava Opening Tournament
The Brava Island Opening Tournament (Portuguese: ''Torneio de Abertura da Brava'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Turnéu di Abertura da Braba''), is an opening tournament competition (equivalent to a league cup) played during the season in the island of Brava, Cape Verde The competition is organized by the Brava Regional Football Association (''Associação Regional de Futebol da Brava, ARFB''). Some seasons featured rounds of one portion, some seasons featured three rounds and two groups with the top club of each group in the final match. It currently consists of six rounds, a meeting with another club once. The winner with the most points (sometimes in the final) is the winner.
