Sari Chabab Djil Aïn Defla ( ar, سريع شباب جيل عين الدفلة), known as SC Aïn Defla or simply SCAD for short, is an Algerian football club based in Aïn Defla. The club was founded in 1934 and its colours are white and black. Their home stadium, Abdelkader Khellal Stadium, has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. Abd al-Qadir or Abdulkadir ( ar, عبد القادر) is a male Muslim given name. It is formed from the Arabic words '' Abd'', '' al-'' and '' Qadir''. Aïn Defla
Aïn Defla ( ar, عين الدفلى, lit. ''oleander spring'') is the capital city of Aïn Defla Province, Algeria. It is also a commune. History In Roman times the city was called Oppidum Novum. The vestiges of the Oppidum Novum are still visible. The current city was founded in the 20th century by a soldier named youcef afg of the rank of agha, with the idea of bringing together the indigenous populations from the villages of the region. This region of uneven terrain, which was considered unstable and dangerous by the French during the Algerian War, had for this reason been declared a forbidden zone. In the 1990s, the same region was a stronghold of the Armed Islamic Group (GIA). Algerian Ligue 2
The Algerian Ligue 2, also called Ligue 2 , formerly known as Ligue Professionnelle 2 and Championnat National 2, is the second highest division overall in the Algerian football league system. It was professional from 2010 to 2020. History The league was created in 1962, when Algeria became an independent nation, and has been played in a number of different formats. In 2010, the league became fully professional. Prior to the start of the 2010 season, the name of the league was changed to the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 to reflect the professionalization of the league.
