SBC Senior Open
The SBC Senior Open was a golf tournament on the Senior PGA Tour from 1989 to 2002. It was played in several different cities, mostly in the Chicago area. The purse for the 2002 tournament was US$1,450,000, with $217,500 going to the winner. The tournament was founded in 1989 as the Ameritech Senior Open. Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Walter Morgan (golfer)
Walter T. Morgan (born May 31, 1941) is an American professional golfer who has played on the Senior PGA Tour (now Champions Tour). Morgan was born in Haddock, Georgia, where he played baseball in his youth. He served 20 years in the United States Army including two tours of duty in Vietnam. Bruce Crampton
Bruce Crampton (born 28 September 1935) is an Australian professional golfer. Early life Crampton was born in Sydney, New South Wales, and attended Kogarah High School from 1948 to 1950. In August 1953 he reached final of the New South Wales Amateur Championship, losing 5&4 to Harry Berwick. Professional career Crampton turned professional in late 1953, becoming an assistant to Billy McWilliam at Beverley Park in Sydney. His decision to turn professional came soon after he had been left out of the Australian amateur team to tour Britain in 1954 and play in the Commonwealth Tournament at St Andrews. Crampton won the Vardon Trophy for the player with the lowest stroke average on the PGA Tour in 1973 and 1975. Chi-Chi Rodríguez
Juan Antonio "Chi-Chi" Rodríguez (born October 23, 1935) is a Puerto Rican professional golfer. The winner of eight PGA Tour events, he was the first Puerto Rican to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. Early years Rodríguez was born into a poor family in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was one of six siblings. His father used to earn $18 a week as a laborer and cattle handler. Mike Hill (golfer)
Michael Joseph Hill (born January 27, 1939) is an American professional golfer. Born in Jackson, Michigan, Hill attended Arizona State University in Tempe and turned professional in 1967. Hill had three PGA Tour wins and his best finish in a major was a tie for eleventh at the PGA Championship in 1974. Dale Douglass
Dale Dwight Douglass (March 5, 1936 – July 6, 2022) was an American professional golfer who won tournaments at both the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour level. Douglass was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He grew up in Fort Morgan, Colorado, where graduated from high school in 1956. Douglass graduated from University of Colorado in 1959, turned pro in 1960, and joined the PGA Tour in 1963. He played on the 1969 Ryder Cup team. Douglass won three times and earned $573,351 in just under 25 years on the PGA Tour. His best finish in a major championship was T-13 at the 1969 U.S. Open. His fortunes improved dramatically when he reached the age of 50 and joined the Senior PGA Tour (now known as the PGA Tour Champions).
