SBB Bem 550
The Bem 550 were formerly a standard gauge EMU formerly operated by Swiss Federal Railways on the Geneva - Bellegarde line between 1994 and 2014. It was equipped to run with French electric power (1500 V DC) and signalling systems. They were built in 1994, based on the Lausanne metro line 1 EMUs, by ACMV (''Ateliers de Constructions Mécaniques de Vevey'') in Villeneuve, with electrical equipment provided by ABB. Rhône Express Regional
The Rhône ( , ; wae, Rotten ; frp, Rôno ; oc, Ròse ) is a major river in France and Switzerland, rising in the Alps and flowing west and south through Lake Geneva and southeastern France before discharging into the Mediterranean Sea. Geneva railway station (french: Gare de Genève), also known as Geneva Cornavin railway station, is Geneva's main train station, located in the centre of the city. The immediate area surrounding it is known as Cornavin; both names can be used interchangeably. Gare De Bellegarde
Bellegarde station (French: ''Gare de Bellegarde'') is a railway station served by TGV, TER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Léman Express located in Bellegarde-sur-Valserine, in the département of Ain, France. The first station building opened in 1858 to allow a stop on the line between Seyssel and Geneva. The wooden building was destroyed by fire and requiring the construction of a new building in 1907. Over the years, other lines reached to the station, causing passenger numbers to grow. The first TGV service was in 1981 between Paris Gare de Lyon and Geneva. Ateliers de constructions mécaniques de Vevey (ACMV) was a metal engineering company based in Vevey, Switzerland. Founded as ''Ateliers B.
