Albert Sacco
Albert Sacco Jr. (born May 3, 1949) is an American chemical engineer who flew as a Payload Specialist on the Space Shuttle ''Columbia'' on Shuttle mission STS-73 in 1995. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Sacco completed a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Northeastern University in Boston in 1973, and then a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1977. He then joined the faculty of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, becoming a full professor and rising to department head in 1989. Sacco served as the Dean of the Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering at Texas Tech University, from January 1, 2011 to August 16, 2022. Sacco flew as a payload specialist on STS-73, which launched on October 20, 1995, and landed at the Kennedy Space Center on November 5, 1995. Sacco (river)
The Sacco is a river of central Italy, a right tributary of the Liri. It flows between the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital and the province of Frosinone in Lazio. Territory The river originates from the Prenestini Mountains, formed by the confluence of two streams of the Monti Simbruini in the Apennines of Abruzzo in Lazio, and flows south-east for a total length of 87 km, crossing the Middle Latin valley between the Ernici Mountains to the northeast and the Lepini Mountains to the southwest; at the height of Ceprano it flows into the Liri River from the right. The Sacco's main tributaries are the Cosa and the Alabro. In old sources, it is known also the Tolero, from its ancient name ''Tolerus'' or ''Trerus''. A suit jacket, also called a lounge jacket, lounge coat or suit coat, is a jacket in classic menswear that is part of a suit. Single and double-breasted Most single-breasted suit jackets have two or three buttons, and one or four buttons are unusual (except that tuxedo dinner jackets often have only one button). It is rare to find a suit jacket with more than four buttons, although zoot suits can have as many as six or more due to their longer length. There is also variation in the placement and style of buttons, since the button placement is critical to the overall impression of height conveyed by the jacket. Patrick Peter Sacco (October 23, 1928, Albion, New York – August 12, 2000, Ashland, Oregon) was an American composer and singer. Sacco, under the tutelage of family members, was a traveling musician as a child, playing piano and performing as a soprano vocalist. He studied at Eastman Preparatory School during World War II, then received a bachelor's degree at SUNY-Fredonia in 1950. He then entered the military and studied while in Frankfurt under Wolfgang Niederste-Schee; he also performed on piano and organ and played clarinet as a member of the 4th Infantry Division band. After military service, he returned to Eastman, where he obtained both master's and doctoral degrees and studied under Wayne Barlow, Howard Hanson, and Bernard Rogers. Nicola Sacco (; April 22, 1891 – August 23, 1927) and Bartolomeo Vanzetti (; June 11, 1888 – August 23, 1927) were Italian immigrant anarchists who were controversially accused of murdering Alessandro Berardelli and Frederick Parmenter, a guard and paymaster respectively, during the April 15, 1920, armed robbery of the Slater and Morrill Shoe Company in Braintree, Massachusetts, United States. Seven years later, they were executed in the electric chair at Charlestown State Prison. After a few hours' deliberation on July 14, 1921, the jury convicted Sacco and Vanzetti of first-degree murder and they were sentenced to death by the trial judge. Nicholas Sacco
Nicholas J. Sacco (born November 17, 1946) is an American Democratic Party politician, who has been serving in the New Jersey State Senate since 1994, where he represents the 32nd Legislative District. Sacco serves in the Senate as the chairman of the Transportation Committee, and is also a member of the Law and Public Safety and Veterans' Affairs Committee. He concurrently serves as mayor of North Bergen as he is allowed to hold two offices under a grandfather clause in a bill that prohibited dual office holding. Michael Sacco (born February 14, 1937) is a retired American labor leader from Brooklyn, New York. He was appointed as the president of the Seafarers International Union of North America, AFL-CIO in June 1988 by the ''SIUNA Executive Board''. Since 1988, Sacco has also served as president of The Maritime Trades Department AFL-CIO, a post he was re-elected to in 2009. In November, 1991, he was elected a vice-president of the AFL-CIO.
