S. D. Chapman
Stanley David Chapman (born 1935) is a British historian. His works have focused primarily on industrial history.''The Writers Directory 1980-1982'' (London: Macmillan, 1979), p. 213. Education and career In 1960 he was awarded an MA degree from University of Nottingham, Nottingham University and his thesis was titled ‘William Felkin, 1795–1874’. A historian is a person who studies and writes about the past and is regarded as an authority on it. Historians are concerned with the continuous, methodical narrative and research of past events as relating to the human race; as well as the study of all history in time.
