S.O.S. (Pink Lady Song)
is a song Yū Aku and Shunichi Tokura wrote for Japanese idol duo Pink Lady. It was released as the group's second single in November 1976, and became their first number-one hit on the Japanese Oricon singles chart in the following year. "S.O.S." features Morse code which stands for the song title at the opening of the song. Because its sound effect might be mistaken for genuine Morse code, the intro of the track was omitted occasionally during radio airplay. The song has been one of favorites for both the duo and the fans, and it is also one of the essential songs performed in their concerts. are a Japanese female pop music duo of the late 1970s and early 1980s, featuring Mie (Mitsuyo Nemoto, born March 9, 1958) and Keiko Masuda (formerly Kei, born September 2, 1957). Kyōko Koizumi
(born February 4, 1966) is a Japanese singer and actress. She is signed to Victor Entertainment. Career In 1981, Kyoko Koizumi participated and won the Star Tanjo! programme and released her 1st single in March 1982. She gained her first number one hit in 1984 and thereafter established herself as one of Japan's most popular pop idols, alongside rivals Seiko Matsuda and Akina Nakamori. MAX (pronounced "Max") is a Japanese female vocal group. The name is an acronym for "musical active experience". The original members of MAX made their musical debut as members of the Super Monkey's along with lead vocalist Namie Amuro. ''Spilt Milk'' is the second and last studio album by American rock band Jellyfish, released on February 9, 1993, by Charisma Records. It features a harsher and more ornate sound than their previous, ''Bellybutton'' (1990). As with ''Bellybutton'', ''Spilt Milk'' was written and co-produced by founding members Andy Sturmer and Roger Manning. Albhy Galuten and Jack Joseph Puig also returned as producers. ''Fan Club'' is a box set of demos, rarities and live performances by American power pop band Jellyfish. The box set was released in limited quantity by Not Lame Recordings in August 2002. ''Fan Club'' contains demos from the band's 1990 debut '' Bellybutton'' and their 1993 sophomore follow-up '' Spilt Milk''. The box set also contains recordings of live performances, rehearsals, compilation track appearances, and interview snippets. Label owner Bruce Brodeen worked on the project for over 15 months, and to complete it, sought a bank loan that exceeded $100,000 (equivalent to $ in ). The remastering alone cost over $10,000. Jellyfish was an American rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1989. Led by songwriters Andy Sturmer (drums, vocals) and Roger Manning (keyboards, vocals), the group was known for their blend of 1970s classic rock and XTC-style power pop.
