Sporting Clube de Mêda ''(abbreviated as SC Mêda)'' is a Portuguese football club based in Mêda in the district of Guarda. Mêda () is a municipality in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 5,202, in an area of 286.05 km2. The city of Mêda proper had a population of 2,004 in 2001. It was promoted to city in December 2004. The Terceira Divisão Portuguesa (in English: ''Portuguese Third Division'') was a football league in Portugal, situated at the fourth level of the Portuguese football league system. The Third Division was initially the third level of the Portuguese pyramid but with the creation of the Segunda Liga in 1990–91, it became the fourth level.
