Rørvika or Rørvik is a village in the municipality of Indre Fosen in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located along the Trondheimsfjord about east of the villages of Askjem and Stadsbygd. The lake Storvatnet lies about north of the village. Flakk–Rørvik Ferry
The Flakk–Rørvik Ferry is an automobile ferry in Trøndelag county, Norway. The line is part of Norwegian County Road 715, which connects the Fosen peninsula with the city of Trondheim. The crossing of Trondheimsfjord is performed with the two - three double-ended ferries; MF Lagatun, MF Munken, which are Hybrid Electric, and MF Trondheim and operated by FosenNamsosSjø, contracted by the Public Transport Operator of Trøndelag, AtB. Norwegian County Road 715
County Road 715 runs from Trondheim to a terminus at County Road 17 south of Sjøåsen. Route County Road 715 begins on the west side of Trondheim at a roundabout at the end of the Ilsvik Tunnel. The road then runs west along the south shore of the Trondheimsfjord before crossing the Trondheimsfjord by the Flakk-Rørvik ferry. Reaching the north shore of the fjord, the road runs northeastward along the shore, crossing from Sor-Trondelag into Nord-Trondelag Counties of Norway, county before turning inland at Vanvikan. Stadsbygd
Stadsbygd is a village in Indre Fosen municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located at the southern end of the Fosen peninsula in a wide, flat valley, just east of the village of Askjem, along the north side of the Trondheimsfjord. The village of Rørvika lies about to the east, and that is where the Flakk–Rørvik Ferry links the area with the city of Trondheim to the southeast. The municipal centre of Årnset lies about to the northwest. The village was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Stadsbygd that existed until 1964. Trondheimsfjord
The Trondheim Fjord or Trondheimsfjorden (), an inlet of the Norwegian Sea, is Norway's third-longest fjord at long. It is located in the west-central part of the country in Trøndelag county, and it stretches from the municipality of Ørland in the west to the municipality of Steinkjer in the north, passing the city of Trondheim on its way. Its maximum depth is , between Orkland and Indre Fosen.
