Ryu Jang-ha
Ryu Jang-ha (born 1966) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. Career Born in 1966 in Seoul, South Korea, Ryu graduated from Chung-Ang University. He also graduated as the best student from the 12th Korean Academy of Film Arts. In 1998, he worked as assistant to director Hur Jin-ho's debut feature film ''Christmas in August''. He reunited with Hur for his 2001 film ''One Fine Spring Day'', writing the script as well as an assistant director. Tokyo International Film Festival
The is a film festival established in 1985. The event was held biennially from 1985 to 1991 and annually thereafter. Along with the Shanghai International Film Festival, it is one of Asia's competitive film festivals, and is considered to be the largest film festival in Asia and the only Japanese festival accredited by the FIAPF. The awards handed out during the festival have changed throughout its existence, but the Tokyo Grand Prix, handed to the best film, has stayed as the top award. Other awards that have been given regularly include the Special Jury Award and awards for best actor, best actress and best director. In recent years, the festival's main events have been held over one week in late October, at the Roppongi Hills development. ''One Fine Spring Day'' is a South Korean feature film released by Sidus and Applause Films in 2001. Directed by Hur Jin-ho (of ''Christmas in August''), the film is a portrait of a love affair - from its blossoming in spring, to its decline as the years pass. Plot Sound engineer Sang-woo meets local DJ Eun-soo on a recording trip in the quest for nature's voice. They succeed in capturing various sensual sounds as well as each other's tenderness.
