Ryota Kohama
, better known by his stage name Ryota, is a Japanese musician who is best known for being the bassist of the rock band One Ok Rock. He was in the hip-hop dance group Heads along with Toru Yamashita (guitarist of One Ok Rock) before they disbanded in 2002. Kohama is the brother-in-law to Canadian singer Avril Lavigne. Personal life Kohama was born in Osaka before moving to Tokyo. Toru Yamashita, a fellow member from One Ok Rock, is his childhood friend. They met together with two other members: Takuya Makihara and Kohei Nakamura. They formed a hip-hop dance group HEADS when they were fifth and sixth graders. , known professionally as Taka, is a Japanese singer and musician who is the lead vocalist of the Japanese rock band One Ok Rock. Moriuchi is the band's main lyricist and composer. , better known mononymously as Tomoya, is a Japanese musician and drummer of the band One Ok Rock. Although not an original member, he has appeared on every One Ok Rock album. Tomoya attended ESP Musical Academy where one of his lecturers who was in a band introduced him to a band they had played with earlier that was looking for a drummer. That band was One Ok Rock and after a period of playing as support, he formally joined a month before their major debut. He often updates the One Ok Rock blog.
