Ryan Lott
Ryan Lott (born 1979) is an American musician. He founded the band Son Lux which has released five albums and four EPs. The band's most recent album ''Brighter Wounds'' appeared in February 2018, the preceding album ''Remedy'' appeared in May 2017. He is also a member of Sisyphus (hip hop group), Sisyphus and has scored the soundtracks for a number of films, most notably ''Everything Everywhere All at Once'' (2022), ''Mean Dreams'' (2017), ''Paper Towns (film), Paper Towns'' (2015), and ''The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby'' (2013). In 2020, Lott composed the soundtrack for the adventure game ''Tell Me Why (video game), Tell Me Why''. In 2022, Ryan released a course on designing sample-based instruments with online music school Soundfly. Third Coast Percussion is a Grammy Award-winning American percussion ensemble, based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Asthmatic Kitty is an American independent record label founded in 1999 by a community of musicians from Holland, Michigan led by Sufjan Stevens and his stepfather Lowell Brams. Some were Holland natives, and others had come to attend local colleges and universities. While the original Holland nucleus has dispersed across the country, the community has grown, with new artists and shared projects with other independent labels. The Library Catalog Music Series, inaugurated in 2009, showcases instrumental music by a wide variety of musicians, with eighteen albums in print as of February 2013, and more scheduled for release.
