Ryan Brunt (curler)
Ryan Brunt (born November 18, 1985 in Portage, Wisconsin) is an American curler. He is currently the lead for the Pete Fenson rink. He lives in Bloomington, Minnesota and curls out of the St. Paul Curling Club. He curls with a left-hand delivery. Career Brunt began curling in 1992. He participated in various bonspiels in high school and won the Wisconsin State High School Champions in 2001. He played in the United States Men's Junior Curling Championship five times, and his best finish was bronze in 2007. Brunt began to curl with Pete Fenson and teammates Shawn Rojeski and Joe Polo during the 2010-11 curling season. His first appearance with the Fenson rink was at the 2011 Continental Cup of Curling, where he and Team North America won the cup over Team World. The 2011 World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling was held January 13–16 at the Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert, Alberta. It was the 7th Continental Cup, the first since December 2008. No event was held in 2009 due to the 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. The event once again featured North America vs. the World. The 2015 United States Men's Curling Championship was held from February 14 to 21 at the Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It was held in conjunction with the 2015 United States Women's Curling Championship. Heath McCormick
Heath McCormick (born August 7, 1976) is a Canadian-American curler from Sarnia, Ontario. Career McCormick began curling in 1992 as a junior in Ontario. He competed in the Ontario Junior Curling Championships five times, and won in 1996 playing third for Patrick Ferris. That rink represented Ontario at the 1996 Canadian Junior Curling Championships where they lost in a tie-breaker game to Nova Scotia's Rob Sifton. He also competed in the Ontario's men's provincial championships six times and finished as runner-up in 2003. He was part of the winning team in the 2004 Ontario mixed championship. He lost in the final of the 2004 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship to Shannon Kleibrink of Alberta. The 2013 United States Men's Curling Championship was held from February 9 to 16 at the Cornerstone Community Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The 2012 World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling was held from Thursday, January 12 to Sunday, January 15 at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, British Columbia. Just like in the previous year's event, the Continental Cup featured team events, mixed doubles events, singles competitions, and skins competitions, and the brunt of the points were won in the skins competitions. TSN broadcast the event, as it has in previous years. Team World aimed to level the field after Team North America won the previous cup, which brought the overall total to 4–3 in favour of North America, and was successful, tying the overall total at 4–4. Maureen Clark (born December 20, 1982 as Maureen Brunt) is an American curler. She began curling at the age of 5 at the Portage Curling Club, a few blocks from her home. Career Clark began curling competitively at the age of 14. She was the skip of her high school curling team all four years. She also led her team to a state championship in 2000 and 2001. Clark's first National Junior Championship appearance was in 1999 where she placed sixth. In the fall of 2001 she was the newest addition to the Cassie Johnson's team, where she played lead. The Johnson Team were the Junior National Champions in 2002 and 2003. Clark, along with teammates Cassie Johnson, Jamie Johnson, and Katie Beck, were the first junior women from the United States to win a gold medal at the World Junior Championships, in 2002.
