Rutger Worm (born 1 February 1986) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a winger. Playing career NEC Worm started his career in the youth program, Quick 1888, in Nijmegen. He subsequently moved to the Vitesse Arnhem youth squad in Arnhem for two years before ending up at the NEC football academy in 2000. He was often used as a substitute during his career at NEC where he also appeared in several European Cup matches under coach Mario Been. Melbourne Heart On 25 February 2010, Worm signed a multi-year deal with Melbourne Heart becoming their first ever international signing. Rütger Wever
Rütger Wever was a German scientist, known for his significant contributions to the field of Chronobiology, including some of the first experiments on humans in time isolated environments. Time isolation experiments Rütger Wever's research focused on the human circadian rhythm, and how humans behave when placed in an environment where they have no external time cues and are free to choose their own sleep/wake and light/dark schedules. Working with his close collaborator Jürgen Aschoff, he had an underground bunker constructed in Andechs, Germany, for use as a laboratory in which human subjects could be shielded from any external time cues, including variations in light, temperature, and electromagnetic fields. Between 1964 and 1989, this bunker was used to conduct 418 studies in 447 human volunteers. Rutger Velpius
Rutger Velpius (around 1540–1614/15) was a 16th- and 17th-century printer and bookseller. He was the first printer in the city of Mons, and later became printer to the court in Brussels. His career coincided closely with the first decades of the Dutch Revolt Life Leuven Velpius became a bookseller in Leuven in 1564, and in 1565 was licensed as a "sworn bookseller" to the University of Leuven. Around 1567 he married Catherine Waen, daughter of the Scottish expatriate bookseller John Waen. In 1570 Velpius was examined and certified as a printer, his certification specifying that he knew Latin, French and Flemish, and a little bit of Greek. For his work in Leuven he used two printer's marks: a large one with a crenellated tower, an angel of vengeance above it and the figures of Justice and Peace embracing before the gates, with the motto ''Justitia et pax osculate sunt. Rutger Smith (born 9 July 1981 in Groningen) is a retired Dutch track and field athlete who competed in the shot put and discus throw. He is the first athlete to win medals at the World Championships in both events. He represented the Netherlands at the Summer Olympics in 2004, 2008 and 2012. His personal best of 21.62 m for the shot put is the Dutch national record. In his first international competition, he won a shot put and discus double at the 1999 European Athletics Junior Championships. At the 2000 World Junior Championships he won medals in both events, and he also competed in both events at the 2004 Olympics. In 2005 he won silver medals in shot put at the European Indoor Championships and World Championships. Rutger de Regt (28 November 1979) born in Zoetermeer is a Dutch designer. Biography Rutger de Regt is a furniture design graduate since 2011 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. This is where he lives and started his design studio. It was also in 2011 when he made his international debut at Ventura Lambrate in Milan with two remarkable collections: The Happy Misfits and the Make&Mold series. Work The Happy Misfits concept is based on the process of manipulating the skin by flexible shaping. Make&Mold is a furniture series for which Rutger invented a process to use industrial plastic mold techniques.
