Ruslan Fomin ( uk, Руслан Миколайович Фомін; born 2 March 1986) is a Ukrainian retired footballer who played as a striker. Career He was loaned to Metalist Kharkiv in 2007. Fomin was also a member of the Ukraine national under-21 football team, as well as a former member of the under-18 and under-19 national football teams. On 16 January 2015, Fomin signed a six-month contract with Azerbaijan Premier League side Gabala FK. Fomin left Gabala at the end of his contract. He played for Apollon Smyrni in the Football League. 2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 20th since its establishment and third since its reorganization. Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions, having won their 5th league title. A total of sixteen teams participated in the competition, fourteen of them contested the 2009–10 season while the remaining two were promoted from the Ukrainian First League. The competition began on 9 July 2010 with four games. After the 19th Round, the competition was suspended for the winter break and resumed on 3 March 2011. Dynamo Kyiv were the defending champions, having won their 13th league title. The 2008–09 Ukrainian Premier League season was the eighteenth since its establishment. The league was restructured and split off from the Professional Football League of Ukraine. It was officially named as the ''EpiCentre Championship of Ukraine in football''. Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions of the past season, having won their fourth league title.
