David Rushton (born 3 May 1973) is an English former association football, footballer who played as a midfielder for Port Vale F.C., Port Vale. Career Rushton graduated through the Port Vale F.C., Port Vale juniors to sign his first professional contract in July 1991. He made his debut in a 4–0 defeat to Leicester City F.C., Leicester City in a second round Full Members Cup match at Filbert Street on 23 October. He was given a free transfer in May 1992. Rushton Triangular Lodge
The Triangular Lodge is a folly, designed by Sir Thomas Tresham and constructed between 1593 and 1597 near Rushton, Northamptonshire, England. It is now in the care of English Heritage. The stone used for the construction was alternating bands of dark and light limestone. The lodge is Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England. Tresham was a Roman Catholic and was imprisoned for a total of fifteen years in the late 16th century for refusing to become a Protestant. On his release in 1593, he designed the Lodge as a protestation of his faith. His belief in the Holy Trinity is represented everywhere in the Lodge by the number three: it has three walls 33 feet long, each with three triangular windows and surmounted by three gargoyles. One wall is inscribed '15', another '93', and the last 'TT'. The building has three floors, upon a basement, and a triangular chimney. Rushton Hall in Rushton, Northamptonshire, England, was the ancestral home of the Tresham family from 1438, when William Tresham, a veteran of the Battle of Agincourt and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster bought the estate. Tarrant Rushton
Tarrant Rushton is a village and civil parish in north Dorset, England. The village is situated in the Tarrant Valley about east of Blandford Forum. In 2013 the civil parish had an estimated population of 80. Starting in the north east the parish adjoins Moor Crichel, Witchampton, just touches Wimborne Minster to the east, then Shapwick, Tarrant Crawford, Tarrant Keynston and Tarrant Rawston. The ancient church of St Mary is built of flint and stone and parts of it date from Norman times. The church accommodates 120 persons and the registers date from 1700. At one time there was a hospital or charity in the parish dedicated to St Leonard. There has not been a post office in the parish, but there was a parish school which in 1895 catered for 45 children. Rushton Park (also known as Lane Group Stadium under ground sponsorship arrangements) is an Australian rules football ground located in Mandurah, Western Australia. Rushton is a civil parish in Staffordshire, England. The village within the civil parish, usually known as Rushton Spencer, is about north of Leek and south of Macclesfield, on the A523 road which runs between these towns. The parish council does not yet have its own website; however, the Rushton Manor Courts Leet and Baron does record the proceedings of the Parish Council, which include minutes and agendas. At one time there were two adjacent civil parishes, Rushton Spencer and Rushton James. Rushton Spencer has the River Dane at its northern boundary with Cheshire, and the road crosses the river at Hugbridge; Bosley Cloud is the western boundary. Rushton, Northamptonshire
Rushton is a village and civil parish in Northamptonshire. It is about north-east of Rothwell and north-west of Kettering. The parish covers and is situated on both sides of the River Ise. It contains the sites of three deserted settlements, details of which are set out below. The village's name means 'farm/settlement which is rushy'. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish's population was 452 people, increasing slightly to 461 at the 2011 Census. The village has a primary school a pub opposite the village cricket pitch, a health retreat, bed and breakfast and hotel. There is a bus service that runs through the village linking Rushton to neighbouring towns. It goes hourly and the bus stop is opposite the pub, the Thornhill arms.
