Rushing Back
"Rushing Back" is a song by Australian electronic musician Flume featuring Australian singer/songwriter Vera Blue. It was released on 27 September 2019 via Future Classic. The track was first premiered on radio Triple J on 26 September 2019 after being performed live for the first time during Flume's Osheaga Festival set in August. "Rushing Back" reached a new peak of number 8 on the ARIA Singles Chart in the week after Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2019 aired, where it was voted in second place. The song features on ''FIFA 20''. At the AIR Awards of 2020, the song was nominated for Best Independent Dance, Electronica or Club Single. Harley Edward Streten (born 5 November 1991), known professionally as Flume, is an Australian DJ and music producer. He is regarded as a pioneer of future bass who helped popularise the genre. Matthew James Firth Coleman, better known by his stage name MJ Cole, is an English garage DJ, record producer and remixer. Career Born in London, England, in his youth, Cole was classically trained on the oboe and piano, and won scholarships to both the Royal College of Music Junior Department and City of London School. ''Hi This Is Flume'' is the first mixtape released by Australian electronic musician Flume. It was released on 20 March 2019 by Future Classic. The mixtape follows the release of Flume's '' Skin: The Remixes'' in 2017. ''Hi This Is Flume'' was announced on 19 March 2019, only days after Flume's documentary ''When Everything Was New'' was released to YouTube. Flume began working on the album away from the public eye from 2017, following his commercially-successful album ''Skin'' and its world tour.
