Rumic Theater
, or , is a Japanese manga collective composed of short stories written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. New stories are published annually in Shogakukan's ''Big Comic Original'' magazine (and other Shogakukan magazines) since 1987. A 13-episode anime adaptation of these short stories was produced by TMS Entertainment and broadcast on TV Tokyo from July to September 2003, followed by the sequel series ''Rumic Theater: Mermaid Forest'', adapting Takahashi's ''Mermaid Saga''. A 2-episode Japanese television drama based on the stories was broadcast on NHK-BS Premium in July 2012. Rumiko Takahashi
is a Japanese manga artist. With a career of several commercially successful works, beginning with '' Urusei Yatsura'' in 1978, Takahashi is one of Japan's best-known and wealthiest manga artists. Her works are popular worldwide, where they have been translated into a variety of languages, with over 200 million copies in circulation. She has won the Shogakukan Manga Award twice, once in 1980 for ''Urusei Yatsura'' and again in 2001 for ''Inuyasha'', and the Seiun Award twice, once in 1987 for ''Urusei Yatsura'' and again in 1989 for ''Mermaid Saga''. She also received the Grand Prix de la ville d'Angoulême in 2019, becoming the second woman and second Japanese to win the prize. David Patrick Seitz (born March 17, 1978) is an American voice actor, ADR director and script writer known for his work for Funimation, Bang Zoom! Entertainment, NYAV Post, Studiopolis, Viz Media, Disney/Pixar, New Generation Pictures and Riot Games.
