Ruffin Hamilton
Ruffin Hamilton III (born March 2, 1971) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Falcons. College career He played at the collegiate level at Tulane University. He also was a guard in basketball during his time there. Professional career Hamilton was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 1994 NFL Draft and spent the 1994 NFL season with the team. After two years away from the NFL, he spent three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. Personal life Hamilton was born on March 2, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). The XFL is a professional American football minor league consisting of eight teams located across the United States in mid-sized to major markets served by at least one other major professional sports team. Seasons run from February to April, with each team playing a ten-game regular season, and four progressing to the playoffs to crown a season champion. It is headquartered in Arlington, Texas.
