Ruedi Walter
Rudolf "Ruedi" Walter (born Hans Rudolf Häfeli, 10 December 1916 – 16 June 1990), was a Swiss comedian, actor and radio personality usually starring in Swiss German-language cinema and television and stage productions. Early life and education Born in Solothurn to Pauline née Furter and Rudolf, Hans Rudolf Häfeli's family moved from Solothurn to Basel in 1921. There he attended the primary school, the college for mathematics and natural sciences (''Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftliches Gymnasium'') and the business school where he graduated at the '' Maturität'' level. Still in Basel, Walter began an apprenticeship at a company for bakery and confectionery supplies that went bankrupt, and assumably in 1937 he moved to France, where he attended lessons at the Sorbonne and language lessons in Paris. The Bernhard-Theater Zürich or Bernhard Theater is a theatre in German-speaking Switzerland situated at Sechseläutenplatz in Zürich. Alfred Rasser (29 May 1907 – 18 August 1977) was a Swiss comedian, radio personality, and stage and film actor who starred predominantly in Swiss German-language cinema and television and stage productions, but he was also known for the role of ''Theophil Läppli'', a parody on the Swiss militarism. Carl Zuckmayer (27 December 1896 – 18 January 1977) was a German writer and playwright. His older brother was the pedagogue, composer, conductor, and pianist Eduard Zuckmayer. Life and career Born in Nackenheim in Rhenish Hesse, he was the second son of Amalie (1869–1954), née Goldschmidt, and Carl Zuckmayer de (1864–1947). When he was four years old, his family moved to Mainz. With the outbreak of World War I, he (like many other high school students) finished Rabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium with a facilitated "emergency" ''Abitur'' and volunteered for military service.
