Rudy Barrientos
Rudy Ronaldo Barrientos Reyes (born 1 March 1999) is a Guatemalan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga Nacional club Municipal and the Guatemala national team. Club career A former academy player of Deportivo Zacapa, Barrientos joined Guastatoya in 2015. He made his senior debut for the club on 26 February 2017 in a goalless draw against Malacateco. In June 2019, Barrientos joined Municipal. He was under a training contract with Guastatoya at that time and the signing was made without their knowledge. Guastatoya later sued both Municipal and Barrientos in National Football Federation of Guatemala. International career Barrientos is a former Guatemalan youth international. He was captain of national under-20 team at 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He was also part of under-23 team at 2019 Toulon Tournament. Estadio Doroteo Guamuch Flores
The Estadio Nacional Doroteo Guamuch Flores is a multi-use national stadium in Guatemala City, the largest venue in Guatemala. It was built in 1948, to host the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1950, and was renamed after long-distance runner Doroteo Guamuch Flores, winner of the 1952 Boston Marathon. It has a capacity of 26,000 seats. Used mostly for football (soccer) matches, the stadium has hosted the majority of the home matches of the Guatemala national football team throughout its history, and is the home of local football club Comunicaciones F.C. The Estadio Israel Barrios is a football stadium in Coatepeque, Guatemala. It was inaugurated on January 30, 2011. Its construction started in 2009, with funding from local entrepreneur Israel Barrios (after whom the stadium is named), who aims to finish the project in coming years. The venue is currently the home of football club Deportivo Coatepeque, who compete in the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala in the Guatemalan football league system.
