Rudin (film)
''Rudin'' (russian: Рудин) is a 1977 Soviet romance film directed by Konstantin Voinov. Plot The rich landowner Daria Mikhailovna Lasunskaya organizes a salon in which people are waiting a well-read baron and philosopher, but instead comes Dmitry Rudin, who delivers an article at the request of the baron. People warmly receive Rudin. Daria likes him too. He spends two months in the house, but the problem is that despite his intelligence, he is a very cold person. Lyudmila Alexandrovna Shagalova (russian: Людмила Александровна Шагалова; April 6, 1923 – March 13, 2012) was a Russian film supporting actress, active during the Soviet era. She was named a People's Artist of Russia in 1977. Shagalova was born in Rahačoŭ, Gomel Governorate, Russian SFSR, now Belarus. Her Soviet cinema credits include '' The Young Guard'' in 1948, for which she and rest of the film's cast won a Stalin Prize. Other films include ''Balzaminov's Marriage'' in 1964, and the ''Wounded Game'' in 1977. Her husband Vyacheslav Shumsky (1921–2011) was an award-winning cinematographer. Shagalova died on March 13, 2012, at the age of 88. Vladimir Borisovich Korenev (russian: Влади́мир Бори́сович Ко́ренев; 20 June 1940 – 2 January 2021) was a Soviet and Russian film and theatre actor and teacher, known for '' The Amphibian Man'' (1962). He was awarded People's Artist of Russia in 1998. Early life and education Korenev was born on 20 June 1940, in Sevastopol, in the family of Rear Admiral Boris Leonidovich Korenev. He lived in Izmail until the family moved to Tallinn, where he became interested in literature and theater. Classmate Larisa Luzhina led Vladimir to drama club, directed by Ivan Danilovich Rossomahin. The circle also engaged Vitali Konyayev, Igor Yasulovich and Lillian Malkina. Zhanna Andreyevna Bolotova (russian: Жанна Андреевна Болотова; October 10, 1941, Novosibirsk Oblast, USSR) is a Soviet film actress who was popular in the 1970s and the early 1980s. In 1977 she became a USSR State Prize laureate and was designated as a People's Artist of Russia in 1985. The actor and theatre/film director Nikolai Gubenko was her husband. Biography Zhanna Bolotova was born in the Siberian resort Karachi Lake nearby Novosibirsk, on October 19, 1941. Mikhail Leonidovich Agranovich (russian: Михаи́л Леони́дович Аграно́вич; born 1946) is a Soviet and Russian cinematographer, director and teacher. He became an Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1987). Biography Mikhail Agranovich was born on September 8, 1946, in Moscow. His father, Leonid Agranovich, was also a director. Mikhail Agranovich graduated from VGIK in 1970, the workshop of Alexander Halperin. Since 1975, he has worked at the Mosfilm studio as an operator.
