Ruben Imingen (born December 4, 1986) is a former Norwegian football defender. Imingen started his football career in Steigen SK Steigen Sportsklubb is a Norwegian sports club from Steigen, Nordland. It has sections for association football, team handball, floorball, orienteering, archery and Nordic skiing. The men's football team currently plays in the Fourth Division, t ..., and later moved to Fauske/Sprint, before settling at his current club Bodø/Glimt. He was named ''Player of the Season'' by the Bodø/Glimt supporter's club ''Den Gule Horde'' in 2006, a season which also saw his debut on the Norwegian under-21 national team. On the last home game for the season Imingen took goodbye from football, first he going to take a paternity leave. Fauske
or is a municipality located in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Salten. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Fauske. Some of the villages in Fauske include Nystad, Venset, Straumsnes, and Sulitjelma. The municipality borders Sweden in the east and the municipalities of Sørfold to the north, Bodø to the west, and Saltdal to the southeast. The town is located on the northern shore of Skjerstad Fjord. The municipality is the 90th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. The 2016 Tippeligaen was the 72nd completed season of top-tier football in Norway. The competition began on 11 March 2016. Due to the 2016 UEFA European Championship, there was a break between the rounds played on 29 May and 3 July. The decisive matches of the home-and-away season were played on 6 November 2016.
