Rregula was the stage name of Ross Deschamp, a drum and bass Drum and bass (also written as drum & bass or drum'n'bass and commonly abbreviated as D&B, DnB, or D'n'B) is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by fast breakbeats (typically 165–185 beats per minute) with heavy bass and sub-ba ... DJ and producer. Based out of Perth, Western Australia, he started making drum and bass in 2001 after listening to the sounds of Sinthetix, Rob F, Skynet, SKC, Cause 4 Concern and Black Sun Empire. In 2003, Rregula collaborated with fellow local producer Phetsta under the shared alias "Bad Robot". Together they had some successful releases, such as 2006's "Forever" on Black Sun Empire recordings. Soon after, Rregula turned to solo production and has released many singles like the "Where Am I?" ep on Shadybrain recordings Ross quit to write music as Rregula in 2014. Neurofunk
Neurofunk (also known informally as neuro) is a dark subgenre of drum and bass which emerged between 1997 and 1998 in London, England as a progression of techstep. It was further developed by juxtaposing elements of darker, heavier, and harder forms of funk with multiple influences ranging from techno, house and jazz, distinguished by consecutive stabs over the bassline; razor-sharp backbeats; scarce or nonexistent traditional melodies; a hyper focus on sub sound design; the use of modulated, distorted and filtered synthesizers and audio capture from samplers such as the Akai S1000 and Emu E6400.
