Royal Blues Taipei () were a Taiwanese professional football club based in Taipei. In 2014/15 they won the BML League Title (2nd Division), only losing once in the process. On 16 August 2015, the Royal Blues won promotion to Division 1 and finished 5th. Taipei Municipal Stadium
The Taipei Municipal Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Taipei, Taiwan. The original stadium, built in 1956, was used mostly for track and field events. Entertainer Michael Jackson performed two concerts there during his ''Dangerous World Tour'' on 4 and 6 September 1993 in front of a crowd of 80,000. The stadium was demolished and reconstructed for the 2009 Summer Deaflympics between December 2006 and July 2009. The new stadium is able to hold 20,000 people. On 3 July 2011, the stadium recorded its highest attendance for a football game when Chinese Taipei hosted Malaysia in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification - AFC First Round second leg match, when 15,335 spectators attended the game. Taiwan Football Premier League (TFPL; ) is the top-ranked division in the Taiwanese football league run by Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA). History The Taiwan Football Premier League was founded in 2017 after the folding of the then highest-ranked National First Division Football League (Intercity Football League). Under the serious epidemic COVID-19 in 2020, TFPL due to light situation in Taiwan, became one of the few football leagues in the world to start the season as usual. Competition format The Taiwan Football Premier League's schedule usually runs from April to November. It contains 8 teams that compete in a series of three round-robin tournaments, each composed of seven games. Atsushi Yanagisawa
is a Japanese former professional footballer who played as a forward. He played for Japan national team. He is best known for playing the majority of his career at Kashima Antlers, in addition to his spells with Italian sides Sampdoria and Messina.
