Roy Walker (footballer)
Robert Wright "Roy" Walker (born 1957) is a football manager and former player. His most recent job was as manager of NIFL Premiership side Ballymena United. Playing career Born to a working-class family in east Belfast, Walker began his career with Torrin Boys youth club, before moving to Luton Town in England. He returned to Northern Ireland to play for Ards, Glenavon, and Portadown. He finished his playing career with Crusaders. Walker is also a Born-again Christian. Managerial career Crusaders F.C. He later became player-manager of Crusaders, in 1989. Walker was a player with Crusaders and was appointed manager in 1989. Glenn Cyril Hunter (born 1967) is a former Crusaders footballer and held the club's goalscoring record with 157 goals in 296 appearances, breaking the record of Curry Mulholland, which had stood for almost 40 years before being surpassed by Jordan Owens in January 2016. Eddie Patterson
Edward Patterson (born 22 September 1961 in Belfast), better known as Eddie Patterson is the former manager of NIFL Premiership clubs Cliftonville and Glentoran. He was relieved of his duties as Glentoran manager on Saturday 17 October 2015. Despite winning two Irish Cups in three years, the club highlighted deteriorating league positions and performances as the main reason for his dismissal. Early life Patterson, from the Bruslee Way/Pinkerton Walk area of the New Lodge Road, was brought up in Belfast. He now lives in Glengormley. The Northern Ireland Football League Cup (BetMcLean League Cup for sponsorship purposes), also known colloquially as the Irish League Cup, is a national football knock-out cup competition in Northern Ireland open to all member clubs of the Northern Ireland Football League. Allan Jenkins (born 7 October 1981 in Stranraer) is a Scottish professional footballer who last played for Dalbeattie Star. Gary McCutcheon (born Dumfries, 8 October 1978) is a Scottish professional footballer who retired in 2015. He is also Reserve Team Manager at Stranraer. Thomas James Wright (born 29 August 1963) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who was most recently the manager of Kilmarnock. As a player, he was a goalkeeper who notably played in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and Manchester City. Ballymena United Football Club is a semi-professional football club from Northern Ireland. Based in Ballymena, County Antrim, the team competes in the NIFL Premiership and plays home matches at the Ballymena Showgrounds which is owned by the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
