Roxy Shahidi
Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi ( fa, رخسانه قوام شهيدي; born 14 March 1983) is an English actress. She is known for portraying the role of Leyla Harding in ITV soap ''Emmerdale''. Career Theatre Shahidi began her career as part of Contact Young Actors Company in 2004 and went on to work for Peskar Productions as a drama workshop leader in Oldham and Bolton. Her theatre credits include '' East is East'', ''Janus'' (for West Yorkshire Playhouse), '' Christie Malry's Own Double Entry'' at the Palace Theatre, Manchester, ''Freshly Scratched'' (for the Battersea Arts Centre) and '' Rafta, Rafta...'' at the National Theatre. She has also acted in radio plays, e.g. Nadeem Aslam's ''Maps for Lost Lovers''. Manchester () is a city in Greater Manchester, England. It had a population of 552,000 in 2021. Greater Nottingham
The Nottingham Built-up Area (BUA), Nottingham Urban Area, or Greater Nottingham is an area of land defined by the Office for National Statistics as which is built upon, with nearby areas linked if within 200 metres - see the List of urban areas in the United Kingdom article for a broader definition. It consists of the city of Nottingham and the adjoining urban areas of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, in the East Midlands of England. It had a total population of 729,977 at the time of the 2011 census. This was an increase of almost 10% since the 2001 census recorded population of 666,358, due to population increases, reductions and several new sub-divisions. Hockley, Nottingham
Hockley is an area near the city centre of Nottingham, England. It lies adjacent to the Lace Market area and has many well-preserved Victorian buildings. There has been a mercantile presence in the area since at least the 13th century. With many bars, restaurants and clothes shops, it is a vibrant and modern area of the city. Whalley Range, Manchester
Whalley Range is an area of Manchester, England, about southwest of the city centre. The population at the 2011 census was 15,430. Historically in Lancashire, it was one of the earliest of the city's suburbs, built by local businessman Samuel Brooks. History Whalley Range was one of Manchester's first suburbs, built by Manchester banker and businessman Samuel Brooks as "a desirable estate for gentlemen and their families". In September 1834, Samuel Brooks bought 39 Lancashire acres of land from Robert Fielden, called Oak Farm in Moss Side, also known locally as Barber's Farm. Brooks also bought 42 Lancashire acres from the Egerton Estate. This land is described in the deeds as being part of Hough Moss, but in the Egerton Estate's records as Fletcher's Moss.
