Roslyn Estates, New York
Roslyn Estates is a village in the Town of North Hempstead in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. It is considered part of the Greater Roslyn area, which is anchored by the Incorporated Village of Roslyn. The population was 1,318 at the 2020 census. History Roslyn Estates was first developed in the early 20th Century (circa 1908) by Dean Alvord, who also developed Prospect Park South in Brooklyn and Belle Terre in Port Jefferson. It was nicknamed "The Eden of Long Island" when originally developed, due to the community's design and setting. In 1931, residents decided to try incorporating Roslyn Estates as a village, due to the fact that the original deed restrictions were set to expire around that time. North Shore (Long Island)

Manhasset Station
Manhasset is a station on the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington Branch in Manhasset, New York. It is 17.2 miles (27.7 km) from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. Despite the line consisting of only a single track east of Great Neck, more parking spaces are available than at other nearby stations on the line, hence many commuters who do not live in Manhasset use it. Manhasset Park District
The Manhasset Park District is a park district serving much of the Greater Manhasset area of Nassau County, Long Island, New York, United States. It is headquartered a 62 Manhasset Avenue, Manhasset, NY 11030. History The Manhasset Park District was established in 1921. In the late 1940s, there was a controversial, failed proposal to build a 3-acre park in the northern part of the Strathmore area of Manhasset. It was argued that all of Greater Manhasset would be paying for a park which only North Strathmore residents would be able to use. When the vote on the $45,000 (1949 USD) bond referendum was held, the referendum was rejected, and subsequently the Manhasset Park District would never build the park. Belle Terre is a village in the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 792 at the 2010 census.
