Rosemount, County Westmeath
Rosemount, historically called Ballybrickoge (), is a village in County Westmeath, Ireland. It is located 5 km northeast of the town of Moate. History Located close to the southwest border of the ancient Barony of Moycashel, Rosemount was once a stronghold of a prominent branch of the Geoghegan (Mag Eochagain) sept of the Southern UI Neill. Like other Geoghegans in Moycashel, and wider Westmeath, they lost most of their prized grazing land and lake fisheries to the Cromwellian and Williamite settlers (both undertakers and officers) after the Down Survey. Many of the Geoghegan family ancestors are interred in the mortuary chapel at Kill. In 1932 Harvard Archaeological Society excavated a Bronze Age cairn (cemetery) with the remains of 44 graves from the sixth century on top of Knockastia (or ''Cnoc Aiste''), which at 200 m (656 ft) is one of the highest points in County Westmeath. Westmeath Intermediate Football Championship
Westmeath Intermediate Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Westmeath GAA between Gaelic football clubs in County Westmeath. The winner of the competition qualifies to represent the county in the Leinster Intermediate Club Football Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship. The top club is promoted to the Westmeath Senior Football Championship, while the bottom club is relegated to the Westmeath Junior Football Championship. The Westmeath Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Westmeath GAA between the top Gaelic football clubs in County Westmeath. The winner of the Westmeath Championship qualifies to represent the county in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. Manic Street Preachers, also known simply as the Manics, are a Welsh Rock music, rock band formed in Blackwood, Caerphilly, Blackwood in 1986. Steven Patrick Morrissey (; born 22 May 1959), known professionally as Morrissey, is an English singer and songwriter. Paddy Casey
Paddy Casey is an Irish singer-songwriter from Crumlin, Dublin. Biography He received his first guitar when he was 12 and left home soon after and began busking and gigging for about 12 years. At about the age of 24 he was approached by Sony A&R Scout Hugh Murray at the International Bar in Dublin, while performing at the singer/songwriter night hosted by Dave Murphy. Sony gave Casey some studio time in Sun Studios Dublin where he recorded 9 tracks in 2 days. Sony decided that they liked the tracks so much that they wanted to release them as they were. They offered Paddy a recording contract. He was signed by Sony, and was eventually taken in by U2's management company, Principle Management.
