Rosamaria Montibeller
Rosamaria Montibeller (; born 9 April 1994) is a Brazilian volleyball player. She usually plays as an opposite spiker and occasionally as a wing spiker. She won the silver medal while making her debut appearance at the Olympics representing Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She was part of the Brazil women's national volleyball team that won silver at the Volleyball at the 2015 Pan American Games – Women's tournament, 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Early life She comes from a family of Italians, Italian origins. Career She began playing the sport of volleyball at the age of nine during a local youth project. Club career She began her career in 2011, making her debut for São Caetano Esporte Clube, São Caetano in the Superliga Série A. She played for São Caetano until 2013. Volleyball At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's Tournament
The women's tournament in volleyball at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the 15th edition of the event at an Olympic Games, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB, in conjunction with the IOC. It was held in Tokyo, Japan from 25 July to 8 August 2021. It was originally scheduled to take place from 26 July to 9 August 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the IOC and the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee announced on 24 March 2020 that the 2020 Summer Olympics would be delayed to 2021. Because of this pandemic, the games were played behind closed doors. The United States won their first gold after finishing runners-up three times with a 3–0 win over Brazil. Serbia won the bronze medal with a victory over South Korea. 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 25th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 32 teams between 7 July and 6 August. The Group 1 Final Round was held in Nanjing, China. Defending champions Brazil won their record twelfth title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over Italy. Serbia captured their third bronze medal in the competition by defeating China in a rematch of the previous year's Olympic final. Natália Pereira from Brazil was elected the MVP for the second straight year. In the Group 2 finals held in Ostrava, Czech Republic, Poland defeated South Korea in straight sets. The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was an annual women's volleyball competition created in 1993. The men's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World League, World League. 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the fourth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament. The competition was held from 31 May to 17 July 2022, and the final round took place in Ankara Arena, Ankara Turkey. Belgium were the last placed challenger team after the preliminary round and will be replaced by 2022 Challenger Cup winners Croatia in the 2023 edition. The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament. The 2021 version of VNL was scheduled to start earlier than the previous edition due to the 2020 Summer Olympics in July. The competition was held in between May and June 2021, and the final round took place in Rimini Fiera, Rimini, Italy. United States won their third title in the competition, outlasting Brazil in thrilling four sets on the final. Turkey grabbed the bronze medal after sweeping Japan in three sets. FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The first tournament took place between May and July 2018, with the final taking place in Nanjing, China. United States won the inaugural edition, defeating Turkey in the final. In July 2018, the FIVB announced that China would host the next three editions of the women's Volleyball Nations League Finals, from 2019–2021, but on March 13, 2020 the FIVB decided to postpone the Nations League until after the 2020 Summer Olympics due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup was the 7th staging of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup, a quadrennial international women's volleyball tournament organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup
The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's and women's national teams of the members of ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The tournament was created in 1993 after radical changes made on the biggest tournaments organised by the FIVB. The main goal was not to have a single year without two high-profile world-level volleyball competitions, alongside the pre-existing men's and women's world championship, men's and women's world cup and the volleyball tournament at the Olympic Games which are all quadrennial and the annual men's and women's Nations League. The World Grand Champions Cup is therefore played quadrennially the year after the Olympic Games and is always hosted by the Japan Volleyball Association.
