Roquevaire
Roquevaire (; oc, Ròcavaira) is a commune in the Huveaune valley between Aubagne and Auriol in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southern France. In 2017, it had a population of 9,003. Its inhabitants are called ''Roquevairois'' and ''Roquevairoises''. Geography The villages of Lascours, Pont-de-l'Étoile and Pont-de-Joux are located within the commune of Roquevaire. In 2023, Roquevaire will be served by two stations of the Aubagne tramway when the northern Line T extension opens. Tourism The main attraction is the organ in the Saint Vincent Church, which is the largest organ in France. The town features an international organ festival in September. Aubagne
Aubagne (, ''Aubanha'' in Occitan according to the classic norm or ''Aubagno'' according to the Mistralian norm) is a commune in the southern French department of Bouches-du-Rhône. In 2018, it had a population of 47,208. Its inhabitants are known as ''Aubagnais'' or ''Aubagnaises''. In 2020, the commune was awarded three flowers by the National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom in the Competition of cities and villages in Bloom. Geography Aubagne is located in the Huveaune Valley and surrounded by the mountain ranges of Garlaban with Sainte-Baume to the north and east of Marseille. Aubagne was the main city of the former Agglomeration community of Pays d'Aubagne et de l'Étoile; it has been part of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis since 2016. Auriol, Bouches-du-Rhône
Auriol (; oc, Auriòu) is a commune in the Huveaune valley in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southern France. In 2017, it had a population of 11,908. Its inhabitants are known as ''Auriolais'' or ''Auriolaises''. The commune has been awarded one flower by the National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom in the Competition of cities and villages in Bloom. Located west of Roquevaire and northwest of Aubagne, it will be served by two stations of the Aubagne tramway when the northern Line T extension opens in 2023. Geography Auriol is located some 22 km east by north-east of Marseille and 10 km north by north-east of Aubagne. Aubagne Tramway
The Aubagne tramway ( French: ''Tramway d'Aubagne'') is a tram system in Aubagne, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Comprising a single line called Line T serving 7 stations, it was inaugurated on 1 September 2014 and does not charge fares. Since 27 August 2017, the operation and maintenance of the Aubagne tramway has been entrusted to the Régie des transports métropolitains (RTM) of Marseille, via its transport subsidiary of Pays de l'Étoile.
