Rootwater
Rootwater was a Polish nu metal band, formed in Warsaw in 2002 by Sebastian Zusin, Tomasz "Yońca" Jońca and Paweł Jurkowski. Soon, Maciej Taff has joined the band as a vocalist. In their music there are many hardcore, thrash, folk and punk, and even ambient influences clearly audible. The name of the band comes from a Magic: The Gathering card captioned "Rootwater Commando". The band is famous for their psychedelic album covers. Many critics are comparing Rootwater's music to System of a Down's music, which is probably caused by a similar use of native "folkish" melodies by both groups. Rootwater's vocalist, Maciej Taff usually sings in English, but some songs refer to Hebrew (Hava Nagila), or are sung in traditional Roma language (Caje Sukarije), Polish, or French (Climchoque). Mystic Production
Mystic Production is one of the largest Polish independent record labels. It was founded by Barbara Mikuła in 1995 in Skała near Cracow. The company was initially releasing and distributing heavy metal music, including early albums by artists such as Sceptic, Asgaard and Virgin Snatch. It has since expanded and has been releasing rock, punk rock, alternative rock, progressive rock and pop artists, and its roster currently includes names such as Behemoth, Acid Drinkers, Coma, Czesław Śpiewa, Grzegorz Turnau, Gaba Kulka, Happysad and KSU, among others. Paweł Jaroszewicz (born 20 September 1985 in Świdnik), is a Polish heavy metal drummer. Jaroszewicz has played with such bands as Interior, Rootwater, Sinful, Vader, Hazael, Thy Disease, Crionics, Deivos, Nerve, Obscure Sphinx, Christ Agony, No Emotions, Hell-Born, Lost Soul, FS Projekt, Decapitated, and Hate. He now plays in Bartłomiej Krysiuk's version of Batushka, Soul Snatcher, and Antigama and is also the current live drummer for Nargaroth and Belphegor. Vesania
Vesania (Latin for "insanity") is a Polish extreme metal band formed in 1997 by Orion, Daray and Heinrich. Later members were Annahvahr and Hatrah, who left the band in 1999 and was replaced by Siegmar. Their first release, ''Moonastray'', was a split with Black Altar, released in 2002 by Odium Records exclusively in Poland. The release was limited to 666 copies and each CD was signed with blood. 2003 saw the release across Europe of their first full-length album, ''Firefrost Arcanum'', by Empire Records. This was followed by the departure of band member Annahvahr. Their second album, '' God the Lux,'' was released in April 2005, and shortly thereafter Valeo (Sammath Naur, Mortis Dei) joined the band as lead guitarist. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player's body and played by strumming or plucking the strings with the dominant hand, while simultaneously pressing selected strings against frets with the fingers of the opposite hand.
