Ronald Torreyes
Ronald Alcides Torreyes (born September 2, 1992) is a Venezuelans, Venezuelan professional baseball infielder who is currently a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, and Minnesota Twins. Torreyes began playing baseball at a young age in Barinas (state), Barinas, Venezuela, after watching his father play. He was ignored by several MLB teams on account of his small frame, but signed with the Cincinnati Reds in 2010. Torreyes played for several minor league affiliates of the Reds, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, and Toronto Blue Jays before he was traded to the Dodgers in 2015. Torreyes made his MLB debut for the Dodgers that September, filling in for an injured Jose Peraza. The Houston Astros are an American professional baseball team based in Houston, Texas. In Major League Baseball (MLB), it is calculated by dividing a player's hits by his at bats (AB). Venezuelan Summer League
The Venezuelan Summer League (VSL) was a professional baseball sports league that operated in Venezuela from 1997 to 2015, primarily in the state of Carabobo. Teams in the league served as academies for Major League Baseball (MLB) organizations, and were classified at the Rookie League level within Minor League Baseball. Omar Enrique Vizquel González (; born April 24, 1967), nicknamed "Little O", is a Venezuelan former professional baseball shortstop.
