Ron Tupa
Ron Tupa (born August 26, 1966) is an American former politician. He is currently a staff member of Democrats for Education Reform (DFER), a political action committee whose stated purpose is to support Democratic Party policies to reform American public education. His title is Director of State Legislatures. He is a former Democratic Colorado state legislator, where he served a total of 14 years in the CO General Assembly from 1994 to 2008 before leaving office in 2009 due to term limits. He was a member of the Colorado House of Representatives from 1995 through 2000 and a member of the Colorado Senate, representing the 18th District from 2001 to 2008. The Boulder Valley School District No. Re2 is a school district in Colorado, headquartered in the BVSD Education Center in unincorporated Boulder County, near Boulder. The district serves Boulder, Gold Hill, Jamestown, Lafayette, Louisville, Nederland, Superior, and Ward. Its area also includes portions of Broomfield and Erie. The Boulder Valley Board of Education officially appointed Rob Anderson to be the superintendent on July 1, 2018. Anderson previously was the Deputy Superintendent of Academics in the Fulton County School System. Anderson has been an educator since 1997 having previously worked in the State of Florida before Georgia. Boulder High School is a high school in Boulder, Colorado, United States. It is part of the Boulder Valley School District. Boulder High School was founded in 1875 as a preparatory school to the University of Colorado. In 1876, it was the first high school in Colorado to graduate a class. The school is located in downtown Boulder, adjacent to the university’s campus and four blocks from the Pearl Street Mall. Construction Boulder High School's building at 1604 Arapahoe Avenue was constructed in 1933 by the Works Project Administration. The facade is classic Streamline Moderne. A teamster is the American term for a truck driver or a person who drives teams of draft animals. Further, the term often refers to a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, a labor union in the United States and Canada.
